Zuma
If interested contact: Tomeeka, tomeeka@tds.net
We found a boxer roaming around last night, he is extremely skinny. He had a number on his collar, we call it, it was disconnected, so we
reverse looked it up, the man died in a car crash a week ago. Someone turned his dog loose instead of finding him a home. He is a wonderful dog. He is potty trained, he rides good in the car. He knows basic commands. He doesn’t mind my cat, we introduced him to our dogs (we have three american pit bull terriers and an english bulldog) and he got along great (I wish I could say the same for our Mason, but he is tolerating him right now). His name is Zuma. I know he must be so sad. He looks like he was well taken care of and loved before he was set loose. He has to be sad missing his dad and not understanding why he was turned away. And the people in town were afraid of him and thought is was a pit bull and screamed at him or ran away from him. I was sitting in the yard and said come here boy and he came right to me, the people standing there being afraid were amazed at how sweet he is. So I brought him home with us. Can you help me or know someone that can? Thanks Tomeeka
Axle
Meet Axle!! What a beauty. He is approximately 1-2 yrs old according to the vet where he is housed. He is a stunning boxer and Am. Bulldog mix boy. He has his natural ears and tail and is all wiggles. He is extremely friendly and loves everyone and wants to give kisses like no tomarrow. He will need some training and plenty of play time. We do not know if he is housetrained or not. He was found by a wonderful lady and taken to her vet for shots and boarding. All newspaper ads and postings have been done and no one has called to claim Axle. Axle would make a wonderful pet with a little work in the training area. He is being housed at Wills Animal Hospital in Owensboro, KY. If interested please call: Phillys, 270-684-1487.

Atlas Gerald & Zoey Marie Howard
Atlas - 1.2 yr Reverse Brindle
Contact: Steven Howard - traveler_dawg@yahoo.com
Handsome reverse brindle male. Parents were AKC registered and this dog could be AKC registered I just lost the paperwork. He is very mild but likes to get and give attention when its wanted. He's just a big lap dog that gets along with everyone! No temper whatsoever. Very intelligent, learns quickly. He hasn't had any formal training but can sit, lay, stay, and come on command. He is use to a firm voice (not mean!) and hand signals when training.
Zoey Marie - 2.3 yr White Girl
White Female Boxer, has done very well with our child. Got the pup whenever our daughter was around 15 months old and they have been attached at the hip ever since. We have traveled with our dogs from Oak Grove, Kentucky to Miami, Florida (thats about 1000 miles one way). Needless to say our dogs travel well. We haven't introduced them to many strangers but they do well with the ones they are introduced to and are very curious and friendly. The other dogs that they have been introduced to they have done very well with, accept for aggressive dogs.

Duke & Barlow
Barlow-Adopted
Duke renamed Max
If interested in these 2 boys, please contact Karen:
pouncer812@yahoo.com
Great Creatures Rescue is in Knoxville TN. The boys are Barlow and Duke.
Barlow is a Black boy who came out of Georgia, he was about to be put down at a shelter. He is 1 and a half years old. We got him into a boarding facilty
where he was treated for Heartworms. Now he is neutered and in a foster home (mine actually!) in Knoxville. He is a very sweet mushy boy! He just wants love! He was pretty emaciated and still needs to put more weight on... since the pictures were taken he has gained 10 lbs. He loves to fetch tennis balls,
He does have his whole tail and has some problems with it breaking open but we are working on getting it healed up. He has happy tail! He is very calm in the
house and will just curl up and sleep when inside!!
Duke I know less about. He is a fawn boy. he was surrendered for shedding and allergies and peeing in the house. He is 11 months old. He was boarded at
a vet clinic for a few days and now is in a foster home. He's a cutie! Let me know if you have any questions or need to know more about either of them!

Sugar Ray
Please take a look at this beautiful boy. He was attacked by 3 dogs and suffered multiple injuries, http://homepage.mac.com/lauriekay/PhotoAlbum137.html
SugarRay Leonard, a boxer mix, is such sweet little boy! He is small to medium sized with the prettiest face that looks like it has been airbrushed with dark brown over caramel.
Ray was scheduled to be euthanized at the local shelter here because he was a stray with a third eyelid problem that was causing him to have only partial vision. His eyelid surgery is scheduled for late March, so he should be able to see completely after that.
He is playful and happy and so clingy! He loves to be with his humans and loves to snuggle. He will fall asleep more quickly if he is near your feet or the noise of the tv - he is a true people-pleaser personality.
Ray will do best in a home with another young dog or young adult dog, preferably a female. Since he had a problem with his eyesight, he tends to be a little clumsy like a puppy and would do best in a home without small children. Ray is very loving and affectionate and willing to sit at your feet all day long! He deserves a second chance at life!

Here is the photo of Caroline the Boxer. She is brindle color. She tested heartworm negative!! Yeah!
We have no idea of her age but she is not young. She is very, very
skinny. She was found running loose in the Interstate. Her teeth don't
look good at all but she also has such a huge underbite that may have
contributed to her poor dental condition too.
Hello it's Dawn in Greensburg, IN. There is a sweet old boxer girl in
the local shelter and they were going to euthanize her but I asked them
to give me 2 days to see if I could move her. I requested that they
heartworm test her too so they will email me hopefully yet tonight and
tell me the results they are. They are also going to email me a photo
of her. I went to the shelter on my lunch break and loved on her and
she is very sweet and gentle. She is good with other dogs too. I will
send you the photo and heartworm test results as soon as they email me.
